What is your desktop resolution?
Your screen resolution is too small to run the software.
I have tried to warn about this, both on the Store page and the Discussion Forum, but I know people do not always read everything..
This is what I mentioned on the Storepage and in the "Before you buy", discussion thread:
"*IMPORTANT*
Portrait Wizard runs in Windows in a window at 1280 x 960, so make sure your screen has high enough resolution to run it."
I have planned to make a 1280 x 800 version, as the last thing before releasing out of early access but it seems that even with that version your screen would be too small.
There are some problems with scaling the software down, but I guess will have to look into making it work for your screensize as well.
The reason why I want to make it work for a smaller screen later rather than sooner, is that it would (most likely) have to be a different version of the software, and if I make it now I have to do double work since I update almost every day, instead of just modifying the finished software.
For now, if you will not have access to another computer, or plan to get an extra screen for your laptop, I guess I have to advice you to refund it.
You should do that before you use the software for 2 hours and within 14 days of purchase, I believe.
If this is the case, I am really sorry, and I invite you to check it out again later to see where it stands on smaller screens!
When you click one of the tabs on the left.. "Hair" for instance, there will be subtabs on the top..
For hair there is "top hair", "back hair" for both sides separately, "front hair" for both sides separately, "moustache" and "beard".
For Eyes, there is, "Shape", "makeup", "highlight", "lashes", "glare", "Iris" and "shadow".
Body, Skin and helmet also have five subtabs at the top each.
You see, you are missing most of the softwares features right now.
I also imagine that you are missing the saturation, Brightness, opacity, spacing and angle sliders at the bottom..
I am going away for a few days, but I will have to look into that when I get back.
Edit:Managed to do it before I go.. Anyway, I will take my computer with me, so I will check the forums and maybe do some bug fix if needed.
It is a bit buggy, but it still should do the job for now, and ,make the software, not perfect but usable even on your screen. I tested it a bit in that resolution, and for me it seemed to work okay.
I will post here again when it is live so you can try it out and see if it works for you.
Press and hold the W and S keys to scroll up and down.
The interface might appear a bit buggy at times, but clicking another tab should refresh it..
The preview hower buttons do not work properly and you have to make sure you scroll all the way up before you save, but with this you can use the rest of the software.
For The pixelation and cutting tool I have not yet made this scrolling feature.
It was a pretty easy workaround compared to a whole new version for smaller screens..
and now people with smaller screens can use it if they want to, so that is very good!
