Drumstick colliders only on tips
As a drummer who no longer has space for a kit at home, I was really excited to try Paradiddle in VR but i'm finding it unplayable because i've set the kit up according to how I like it, but I find the bottom of the sticks trigger drums/cymbals constantly - the only way I can avoid this is to space the drums out until it feels completely unnatural. Is there a way to adjust the hitbox of the sticks to focus on just the tips of the sticks? That way if the bottom of the sticks touch a drum, it wont set it off.

I think this app has potential to be great, but it's not currently very polished.

I know this is old, but this is an issue still. I understand it's in Early Access, but is this on the radar? Do you have this on the project list?

I'm not a drummer...just a noob. It's distracting for me as I try to improve because I'm hitting a tom after I hit a cymbal.

A year has passed and it still doesn't seem to be on the radar of the developers. It's pretty annoying for me as well. If we only had an option to change this, I would be happy.

I really hope this gets added. Also it'd be cool to use the Index grip sensors to determine how hard or soft you're holding the sticks.

Hey all, this is definitely still on the roadmap but ended up getting backlogged due to some of the bigger features taking priority over the past year, such as the note highway mode or proper support for Oculus Quest. We're currently working on a major UI overhaul, and my plan is to add the stick collider length as a separate field in the stick calibration menu. Apologies for how long this has taken!

Awesome, shall look forward to that stick collider length setting, as it's my only gripe with the game so far, given I have zero actual drumming experience

Any news on this? I had to refund the game since it was so difficult for me to adjust to accidental hits.

We have implemented a stick collider length setting for our upcoming Version 1 update. We're planning on having a test week/weekend for V1 it some time in September that we'll most likely announce on the Discord (https://discord.gg/paradiddle), and are planning on releasing V1 for everyone some time in October (exact date to be announced).
