You can try the old version of the game, go back to 1.01

The 1.01 version is not only recover the censored stuffs but also give you a better gaming experience, the AI is better too, guards act normal if you don't run or do something abnormal. GOG has 1.01 version, Steam's one is a little bit broken.

You download the 1.01 patch and paste in your hitman 2 silent assassin folder.

I've downloaded and been playing the 1.01 version of the game. Runs better, heads up though, you'll still need to limit you FPS. At first I had mine set to 60fps max but had tons of issues on the Japanese levels so I tried 30 fps and all works perfect...

The game has scripted events and having unlocked frames cause more trouble then its worth so 30 is what I'm playing with and happy... but thats just me :)

Of course, as use the modern machines, H2:silent assassin is almost unplayable without limited fps by rivertuner. 60fps is playable for me. I am trying 55fps now. 30fps is too stressful.

Hi there. what you can do can two things to roll back your game to 1.01. First, you can click the link in my post and download the 1.01 document, then paste to your game folder, replace the current documents. Second, you can search the 1.01 patch on google. and download it right there. Copy and paste. That's it.

Yea, that's the best way to own a hitman 2 :Silent Assassin game.
