can u guys make the servers private or public..... like with lots of games.. sending an invite thro steam to play with friends instead of IP nonsense... it is a real pain in ass to have to figit with opening ports and messing with firewalls/ routers and such

Direct connection is for people who know the IP and know that they are not blocked via a firewall, or just local LAN. Unity matchmaking shows servers around the world that are created, so you just click on your friends name and you are connected, the only drawback for them is that they are limited to a set amount of players at 1 time, it is not something we control, but instead Unity, so sorry about that.

Direct connection - unlimited
Relay connection - Cap set upon by Unity themselves for which we pay for bandwidth trough their servers.

I very much enjoyed SK1 and am really looking forward to SK2. Looks like a lot of neat changes are happening and I think it will be fun to play singly as well as multiplayer with the hubby. Keep working hard devs, there are a lot of fans who appreciate what your are doing for us!

Really appreciate the support! It drives us to work harder! Thank you.

As you accused us of deleting a comment, I have decided to delete just one of your comments which added nothing to the conversation the "THEY'RE GONNA SHAFT US" comment... I also deleted the comment of the person replying who did have a bit of a go at you for your post, I don't really want to have the community get into a war with trolls, which seems to be your intention... I don't really like liars, so thought I'td be nice to aide in your accusation of deleting comments by actually deleting a comment of yours. You're welcome, it seems this is what you wanted :)

Unless you have something to say which we can comment on and respond to, then trying to start a flame war with lies is not really a good use of your time.

Have a great day!

Yes you will. Steam allows us to make sure everyone is playing from the same version. Making updates easier to distribute :) So we will be reliant heavily on selling Steam keys, whether you buy it from Excalibur, Green Man Gaming, Humble or other places.
