Goat quest

Day 4 ingame killing goats for the goat head recipe I start to wonder if I am missing something.
I see in Fixes "Goat killing quest will only appear after Fang is killed"
So was there a quest to kill Fang? What if Fang was killed before quest?

"Goat head quest requires 50% less goats" no idea what that means. Anyone want to give me a kick in the right direction?

Pretty sure u just need to have defeaten Fang at any given point in time to enable it. The 50% less would be that you have to kill only half as many goats for the quest compared to the past.

So if defeating Fang enables it, who gives the quest? If it's the blacksmith all he gives is the spider quest over and over. The leather armor recipes quests all completed, but no other quests.

I am assuming the goat head recipe is a reward from that quest because that is what my objective is. On single player I have not seen it. On two seperate co-op servers haven't seen it. The players on those servers have never seen it and it was even suggested the quest/recipe wasn't in the game yet. Searching these forums it appears it is or was active.

Ok so I just got to it (sorry for being so late, been playing some other games too and had to get to that point).

The guy that gives it is Tom Triliki and I assume it was killing Fang that allowed me to get the quest (got past him before killing Fang and he didn't have it yet). This guy is at some houses a bit away from town. Not the village but about half way from the town to the village.

So it is still in the game like always but you have to go adventure out of town to find. Definatly worth doing it as soon as possible as it allows for u to make a fair bit of money.
