Rework sauna and hygiene

I only recently started playing this, but have spent most of the game getting a debuff from colonists needing a shower. I spent a while in the research looking for it only to find out you need a sauna which comes late game to keep clean? Why on earth do I need a sauna to keep people clean? Is the basic concept of getting in or putting on water to oneself really a lost technology that now requires a sauna?
I finally get the sauna only to find out that after this game being out for years there is a bug that firewood is never transported for the thing to actually work?
I was tempted just to make a review saying this game had potential, but has design flaws that the dev isn't fixing, but throwing this out there hoping someone can tell me i'm missing something first.
If i'm seeing the full picture, the guy in charge needs to get off his bum and implement a basic shower and rework the sauna to be entertainment or just remove it.

Hello,
I generally put always a steam sauna and field hospital medical lab in place of an environmental station after clean all the map...
So i don't know there is a bug like with the burner before ...
Anyways severals toilets are enought at the middle game ..

They can keep clean with Outhouses until you research the Sauna.
once you research water towers and Flushing you can upgrade the outhouses to no longer produce pollution.
