Research froze

This is the first actual bug i have come across after having played through multiple times. My research queue had just completed "Circuit Assembly" and had moved onto "Advanced Soldering" with plenty of research points to spare. However it stalled on this and would not advance and there was no way to clear it. Thankfully i was able to reload a save from 10 minutes prior and it continued without a problem from there. However without the save, further research would have not been possible.

Heya! Really sorry to hear about this issue - we have received a few similar reports however usually players have mentioned that saving and loading has also fixed this issue - any chance you might have tried this?

Really glad to hear that you did have the backup save though so that you were able to continue nonetheless!

I'll make sure a member of our team investigates this - not sure if we can find anything as this seems to happen very randomly, but hopefully we'll find something!

Hey Joanna, thanks for the feedback!

I didn't try saving and reloading but good advice, i will try if it happens again.

I have played hundreds of hours now and this has only happened once. I had a small population and nothing else unusual going on so i'm not too concerned.
