Is the Ultimate Colony Edition worth it?

On the fence about StA vs endzone....and if AtA ...if the collectors (colony) edition is worth it?
Does the content feel fun, engaging, and interesting thanks to the expansions?

Its solid game and probably worth it i would say, just playing with Shattered Hope dlc can be harsh and this dlc is better to be turned off, it still not well balanced and looks like never would be.

Damn you people spam Abandoned on every game forum on every game that is not a Liveservice game and its finished.

The game is finished and fun and interesting sure there are some balance issues but yeah.

I bought it recently and I'm having a ton of fun. The game puts pressure on you, though, but in return you always feel like you have something to do and work towards. A big issue with many colony games is you kinda just sit there and watch time pass without really feeling prodded into doing anything. That's not an issue with this game.

I've recently started playing again after playing two years ago. Fell in love with this style of game with Banished, and have played Furthest Frontier more recently. Picking it back up as of this month, I'd say the game is worth it. I remember getting resourced locked before, where I'd hit a point and could no longer progress due to the lack of being able to find or produce certain resources fast enough. Specifically when it came to electronic components, that issue seems to have been resolved.

I did hit a pinch last night, but was able to find some more components in order to begin making my own.

I definitely enjoy this style of the genre over a basic Banished. The constant need to prepare for different catastrophes, and then eventually hardening so that they are hardly a problem anymore, etc.

I might have to look into Endzone too, but if it takes inspiration from Frostpunk than the game's survival aspect might be more difficult than Surviving the Aftermath.
