No multiplayer? Not even co-op? Sad

I was going thinking about buying this, i buy most of the Paradox products, but no multiplayer is a big no for me.

It's a building game, what do you want to do in multiplayer? Makes zero sense really.

We got multiplayer city builder already. It was called Sim City(the new one) and it flopped hard.

I have no words to describe how wrong you guys are. Never played Anno series? Most famous city builder out there and it has coop since ages. This one game will never have even 1/10 of the Anno playerbase nor avarage reviews without coop. It will end with a "mixed" reviews a few thousands of players, if they are lucky. SP kids are so blind and ignorant about the current gaming scenario, make me sad.

Surviving Mars has 800 players online! Crusader Kings 3 has 30000 players online! I mean, even Europa Universalis IV ( almost 10 years old game) has 20k players online!
You don't really realise what a little minority SP gamers are nowdays.

Cool man, now tell us how many of those 50k people are actually playing in multiplayer right now so as not to render your entire point meaningless.

As you can see by checking the public games opened, many thousands, and anyway it will prove even more of my point. Adding coop to a game will make dozens of thousands of players to buy the product, EVEN if they will end up playing SP aswell. Your argoument make no sense. I buy games because they have coop feature, that doesn't mean that i can't play those game in SP aswell.

Very unfortunate no coop. Especially since it offers so much more than city building. Maybe they will add eventually and hopefully the publisher pushes it since they know how much it can help bring in players.
