Vanilla play-through, not modded? If modded, what mods?
So, just with this play session with this single DLC installed, on custom games? This never occurred with the base custom game, with no DLCs prior to Mar 15?
Currency is awarded when we win combat with the gate bandits, in Quests, and on the world map, right? So in the period where no currency is awarded, these events did occur, just no currency awarded? Or even the events stop getting triggered?
Can't recall ever encountering this issue, last I played the DLC back in Mar. I don't think there's been an update, not according to steamdb.info.
(although it is weird that the release date was Mar 15 2023; and the public branch for this DLC was last updated 12 months ago)
If you wanna post the save file somewhere (or attach it to paradox forums thread), we can compare if we get the same player.log results or same gameplay outcome...
So many weird things since the free Epic week, I'm gonna fire it up this long weekend.
Just like you see on the chart, day 18, 17, 15, 13, 11, the other days are more income because I did salvaging on the map.
No mods whatsoever by the way.
I know I modded that steady trickle feature with my ResourceFactoryUltimate (as yet unreleased), precisely because it is not a constant flow; and I was testing some self-made scenarios with the DebugMode mod like :
- Build Everything
- Isolated self-contained colony, don't build gate
I'll update after I run through a custom game session soon(TM).
That'd be wonderful to confirm, basically what I'm seeing is trickle income continuing indefinitely in Normal games, but trickle income just stopping past day 15-20 in Custom Games.
Having blitz through the playthrough, I recall now that with all 3 DLCs in a custom game > 200% difficulty, I need to play so much slower. Population went down from 14 to 8 in 10 days (days 40++ is when all things seem to hit; moonrocks falling, buildings needing repair, blighted creatures/colonists attacking), don't think this colony is gonna survive...need to do another run in Normal mode, before we can conclude definitively about the Currency.
Have to fix my desktop PC (not booting up at the moment) before I can get the mod files and transfer it to this laptop, so that I can confirm how the screen differs with my modded Magic Money cube. IIRC it showed the rate per 24h like for Science Points.

Hopefully, others would also chime in if they remember Normal games vs Custom Games and the Currency situation.
That's where the trickle comes from after you've build the Tavern. Other buildings offer some other rewards like population increase rate or bandit combat decrease rate, etc.
I've just progressed far enough to start the DLC's related stuff. And if no request to construct any building, the player can initiate it ourselves.
