Cleansing
Cleaning research needs to have its position swapped with hazmat engineering, you'd build a basic shower before pollution removal.

Heya!

Good suggestion, I'll bring this forward to the rest of the team too. No promises or guarantees though!

It would be appreciated. Washing yourself in a toilet is not exactly, hygenic and you do it in a portapotty either.

Because contamination can already be cleared from the out house. Why would you need/want a research for that?

Because the pollution stays, even after contamination is removed.

I understood what you wanted. I don't think AdeptusAstartes did, however.

No, it slowly disappates. It takes time for it to clear up, I've watched and seen it, it generally takes like a day or 2 to fully clear out.

I'll double check, but I monitor my pollution like a hawk, and I haven't noticed that yet with outhouses.

You need to manually set repair on them to have them cleaned up, as for them constantly having a set level of polution, its like the polution center, when they are used, they aquire polution over time, the best way to address and take care of their contamination levels is having a repair facility staffed with at least 1 or 2 people don't necessarily need 3 unless you have the extra bodies to spare and having at least 2 - 4 haulers cleans them up on a regular basis. It was intentionally implemented to be that way and personally makes sense to me for out houses. The "polution" cloud that floats around them won't ever go away because they are constantly in use by your colonists.

how about add a laundry building that provides less bit of cleaning and happiness to the colony.?
