My controller doesn’t work. What do I do?

What is Error 2008?

Error 2008 means you are playing with an out-of-date version of Icons: Combat Arena

Solution:

Right Click on the game in your Steam library.
Hit “Properties”, and go to “Local Files.”
Check the box that says “Verify Integrity of Game Files.”

This should automatically start the Icons: Combat Arena update.

The game is online, but I’m having trouble running the game, as it is telling me that there is a “missing executable” error when I try to launch. What should I do?

A common technique to fix this issue is to to the following:
Right Click on the game in your Steam library.
Hit “Properties”, and go to “Local Files”.
Check the box that says “Verify Integrity of Game Files”.

I just started the game and it is freezing on the loading screen into a stage. What’s wrong?

The first time you load into the game, it will take a bit longer than normal to load up things and may create a “Not Responding” alert briefly. This is expected and should not happen after initial playthrough.
