how to unlock the locked characters?

Go to the store on the title sceen and you can pay in game money or real money to unlock them. They are 1,000 in game currency each if I remember correctly.

They stated that for testing purposes you've been given some of the in-game money for the shop, and your account will be reset for the actual launch when the beta is over.

So I highly recommended getting the characters so you can use them for the rest of the beta. That does leave some money left over for taunts and such.
The leveling system isn't in the beta now, so you can't get any more test-money. [Or... now it is? I don't know if it's fully functional or anything.]

Dang, I was like level 5 and level 3 Zhurong lol. Oh well, I might consider just buying the characer pack to support the game. I don't like a lot of their decisions, but real smash clones are nonexistant so I might as well.

Er... and I have all the characters from buying with test-money... Huh... I guess the reset didn't happen yet for some reason. That's weird.

I know I got an email saying that the test money thing was temporary and would be reset...

Will accounts be reset after the weekend?

In the next playtest, we will be giving existing players another 1,000 spectra, and you'll continue to have the items you picked up this weekend. We WILL be resetting accounts before July 12, but not before the next playtest. (Founders Pack and Pro Accounts will remain throughout.)

Ironically, I feel less motivated to play now since it's going to get reset... and I was so excited to get to play early...
