Bug Report Update Thread

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for all the comments and feedback.

Please note: We are adding multiplayer back, I will follow up with announcements explaining this. Thank you for your patience.

I will open this thread across all of the Commandos community hubs. If you are running into problems with a particular version of Commandos, please post it in its own thread, this will help us coordinate our efforts in searching for solutions.

We are working on resolving as many problems as possible with the recent patches. We have heard you on the previous thread and are working towards solutions.

Many of the comments I have read state that the game simply does not run on a particular Operating System - typically Windows 10 64 bit. However, this hasn't helped us unfortunately as some of our test machines are running Windows 10 64 bit and we are not seeing the same problems. With that said, if you could provide your full system hardware log, we might be able to hunt down hardware incompatibility etc.

To run a DxDiag report follow the steps below:

• If you are running Windows Vista or higher go to your task bar.
  
• Click on, "Start Button".
  
• Click on, "Run".
  
• In the pop-up window enter DxDiag and hit ok.
  
• The DirectX Diagnostic Tool pop-up window should appear.
  
• Click on, "Save all information".

From there, you can copy this information to a website like Pastebin[pastebin.com] Please copy and paste the link to your log into a comment here. Please also explain the problem you are experiencing with the game in as much detail as possible. We are doing our absolute best to fix the problems with the games.

Commandos 2 & 3 crash for me. Commandos 1 and its expansion are OK.

A temporary fix for this get to the engine bug i've found is running the game in a window using a 3rd party program:

It seems running older games in window mode tends to fix them on 8/10, maybe they should make a "borderless window" option for commandos that fits the whole screen so it still looks like it's full screen.

I got the same problem. Further more, "field of view" doesn't work. My system is win8.1 x64. i7 4700, 12gb ddr, gtx 860m. plz fix it, thx.

Hi dear dev! Would you please add Steam Cloud support for all 4 Commandos games? It will only take you a couple of minutes to set it up without any changes in the code, you just need to specify the save files location and enter byte quota in Steamworks.

Hi James, Thank you for still trying to keep these old games up and running on newer operating systems it's appreciated.

Commandos now has managed to start working i've changed nothing but now it runs using the modern update the legacy version crashes as before the recent updates. Commandos 2 & 3 still CTD immediatley upon start.

because there is no way to see the sorrounding area in the level "get to the engine"..
I think i killed all enemy´s without seeing the area. but still the level has non ending.
is there a way to win this level and to get into the next one?
