I cant open commandos 3 destination berlin

When I open it it shows the preparing to launch screen and then asks me to select Play Commandos 3 destination Berlin, Play multiplayer, Legacy edition. When I select Play Commandos 3 destination Berlin it doesn't open and it stops.

And also when I opened it from the file explorer it shows path not specified

1. Did you use any other installations before? (Old CD version or from other unofficial websites)
2. Do you use any headset or headphones with a USB connector?
3. Did you try to use "Disable full-screen optimizations"?
4. Did you try the compatibility mode? Which configuration did you use for your game?

I am having the same problem. The game was runnig well until yesterday, but today, don't. I can't even stop it using that optino at Steam plataform. Tried the dtae verification, but didn't work also!

Then try "Disable full-screen optimizations" and use Windows XP SP2 or 3 as compatibility mode.

After setting those try to run the game as administrator.

3. yes but didn't work

These 3 things happened in order starting from the first link

This is what had happened when I ran it through steam

When I clicked play it showed this as usual

and then I chose play commandos 3 destination berlin and then it showed that 'Do you want this app to make changes to your device' (which was this app ' commandos3.exe ' )
and then with no error message with no black screen this happened.
