Can't increase entry fee

for some reason I can't seem to increase the entry price so everone keeps getting in for free. did they change this or am i just missing somthing?

certian objectives and limitations are preset into each map. some only allow ride price adjustment, some only allow gate price adjustment with free rides. depends on what your playing. the early scenarios dont usually allow for admission adjustment, thats in more advanced maps.

It was designed for this to occur. In traditional RCT2, parks could either charge entry fee and no roller coaster fee or vice versa. They chose roller coaster fee presumably because it made everything a lot easier in terms of profit generation for your park

Not the reason in this case. I have the original roller coaster tycoon as well as the loopy landscapes CDs. I know for a fact in the original RCT you can adjust park entrance fees on the level "Forest Frontiers". In this remake you cannot on their "Forest Frontiers". The option was strait up removed entirely from all scenarios in this remake, the last time I played anyways.

They did for some unknown reason. The only "answer" I have gotten from others in discussions is "To be more like RCT2". Even though this is remaster of both RCT and RCT2 with all expansions.

Would be awesome to still be able put entree fee some day..
In real (where i live) we pay for entree fee only. After that the consume stalls is your income.
This so we can set every attraction to free entrance and let people be forever in your park if they like.

Its the same as in rct: deluxe, just try all the maps, you will find some where you can put entrance fee on.

They aren't going to change how the entrance fee is, this is modeled after RCT 2. It's a merge of 1 and 2 with the base idea built with 2 in mind and 1 added after it, thus why it plays a lot like 2 compared to 1. To further show this idea the game is missing Mega Park from Roller Coaster Tycoon 1 even.
