Issues with loading RCT Classic on Mac OS?

Am having some issues with loading the RCT Class on my Mac.. When I'm on the yellow page with the turning ferris wheel, the ferris wheel keeps turning but the black loading bar isn't doing much. Any ideas on how I can get the game up and running again? Thanks!

Same here. Only the yellow screen with ferris wheel, not even a bit of the black loading bar visible.

@Kingsford That is nice to hear, but that is not solving the problem, right? Or did you got some help as well?

I think the problem is solved by running it in "Big picture" There it will start every time.

Running it in "Big picture" doesn't solve anything for me...I think I'm going to ask for a refund aswel. I didn't pay 20 Euro's to endlessly watch a yellow screen with a ferris wheel... what a shame. I was really looking forward to play RCT again after all these years...

Same issue and got a refund. Did not receive help on the issue though. Would like to hear when the game is properly build and does work.

I had the same issue. The game worked fine until I upgraded to High Sierra. I'm assuming a compatibility issue with High Sierra.

Hey guys, something I tried that somehow worked for me: if you switch between screens a couple of times (on my mac it's the F3 button) it might just load. Especially if you see a small black window: drag it to fit full screen and go back to the game. Hope this helps!

What worked for me was pressing Command+F (makes the window smaller) when the yellow screen with the ferris wheel comes up and then it would load and I would press Command+F again once its fully loaded.

I had the same problem on High Sierra and once I restored back to Sierra it loaded fine for me.
