Logitech F310 gamepad controller no longer works with game?

Sadly my controller no longer works with this game...why?

I've got the F310 and the game seems to work okay for me with it. To me the game plays better with a keyboard anyway. Have you tried other games?

Really! You play games with a keyboard?? Maybe I have to toss my Logitech F310 I've used for the past 10-12 years and get a new keyboard... the f310 fails to be recognised in several games on Steam. Only one it works with is MX 2021 so far... Anyone got a fix for this?

It depends on the game. I just finished Stray and that seems to play better on a controller. Right now I'm playing Portal 2 using a keyboard. I'd never play an rts with a controller, but something which requires precision direction control is usually better with a controller. Then there are point and click games where all you use is the mouse.

I worked it out. Needed to go to the game in your library and click the controller settings and needed to turn off steam support and just use the game's built in support.

Nice catch. Is controller support new? I don't recall seeing it before. I try to turn off every Steam related option I can. I figure if whatever it is isn't in the game to start with then the game was probably designed to not have it.
