Red wind visual glitches [Steam Deck]
I tried searching for similar reported issues, but I only find complaints about issues with the red wind on Macs and freezing. In my case the game doesn't freeze and is generally still playable, but in the beginning and the end of the red wind/storm, I see some glitches which spoil the general impression of the game.

Device: Steam Deck
OS: Steam OS Holo 3.4.8 (latest stable)

I played it on the same device a few months ago and didn't have any issues whatsoever. Now my partner is trying to play it and is experiencing this issue.

I tried running the game with Proton 7.0-6 (default), 8.0-2 and Experimental. I also tried restarting Steam OS and reinstalling the game. None of this helped.

I have no solutions to offer, but I am also seeing this glitch. Same visual as the screenshots above.

Same here. Hopefully it's only this small section of the game.

I encountered the same issue + a cutscene related to a hidden achievement didnt play and was instead replaced with a 2 second image of different-colored rectangles
i tried moving the game from my sd card to the internal storage and that didnt help either

Alright so ProtonDB said to use Proton GE and so I did, which fixed all issues i had.
In case you don't know, it is to my knowledge an unofficial version of Proton and doesnt come pre-installed, meaning you need to install it manually throught desktop mode. Just look up "install Proton GE", its pretty simple. Also, the newest version works just fine, no need to use older ones :)
