so, i'm guessing it's unlikey to be specifically a keyboard issue
getting a feel for the doublejump may take a bit of getting used to. the timing of the double is NOT to be done "as fast as possible", but more spaced out: jump + jump. and getting the balance/timing right between the forward and the up also may just need a bit more practice on your part.
maybe?
possibly the game would be easier with controller, I wouldn't know about that,
but certainly it IS playable on just a basic keyboard
good luck for the rest of the game - there are a couple of difficult spots ahead, but you'll get through it (*thumbs up* - sorry I seem to have lost access to my emojis here for some reason...)
