At first, my Steam Library was on SSD. Other games worked fine, except this one. Streamed 1.5 hrs of it thinking it was normal to be silent, nope. I took a leap of faith before asking for a refund, - I moved this to the Mac Mini's hard drive. Amazingly, there was audio! Wut kinda sorcery was dat? Ofc I had to move the game back to SSD and try again. Nope, no audio on SSD, 0. So I once again moved the installation of this game onto the Mac Mini's hard drive, - it worked again. Bothersome indeed.
I am guessing this game's audio files fail to work properly, unless it's installed on the original body of a computer. I don't want to invest more time on this thing that stressed me out enough, but anyone feel free to investigate the 'why' if they really want to. Anywayz... This is how I fixed mine. Hope it helps someone out there. <3
