Hate to necro, but skipping cutscenes would be useful for replaying the game to get any achievements you missed.

I have to agree. If a game isn't worth playing twice then it isn't playing once (imo). And if you've played twice, why not a third and fourth time? The cutscenes are beautiful, but occasionally you want to skip though them after seeing them multiple times.
