Walking glitch?
I just started the game about 10 minutes ago and sometimes while walking, she'll just stop moving forward and walks in the same spot. Also, I had to alt f4 because there was a cutscene and this was happening there as well so the cutscene couldn't progress. What could be the issue?

I have the same thing, I think the problem is in the new version of the Nvidia video driver, since a couple of weeks ago everything worked, and I passed the game, but I can no longer play it = (

Damn I was really looking forward to playing the game. I'm still using an older nvidia driver though (388.13) so I doubt the driver update is the cause of the issue. I'll look into some more solutions but if I don't get anywhere, I'll probably just refund.

and so, I solved the problem by removing the driver with rebooting and then reinstalling the Nvidia driver (installed 4.19.17 of 02.22.19).

Which driver is that? Like the normal driver number version.

the latest video driver for the video card from nvidia 419.17 from 02.22.19, as well as the GeForce Experience 3.17.0.126. (before installing everything deleted and cleaned the registry)

5 years later here. Exact same issue of in-place walking but with AMD graphics card.
Note that it also makes you stuck underwater doing moonwalk xD.

Update: Fixed it from an idea I found at https://steamcommunity.com/app/683320/discussions/0/3561682880012165970/?ctp=8#c5170673756516032556.
The culprit was specifically Radeon Enhanced Sync.

No more issue no matter how many times I alt+tab.
