Holding the jump button after the second jump makes you float.
Wait until you reach the highest point with your first jump, and then do the second jump, hold down the button until you land so you glide longer.
I didn't know the butterflies/birds give you the big jump boost. The game didn't tell me that!
Neithertheless, I am glad you now can progress. Have much fun.
I've done it - I flew / long-jumped my way up, have been caught by the red birds, it's a huge relief;
there are more than one tree where I have to fly / long-jump?! but thanks for the answer. it's so exciting to get further after I've thought there's no way out
