It sounds like an error with the cutscene itself.
Hey, thanks for the tip. I managed to solve it though forgot to post back.
I'm pretty sure it was a bug in the cutscene as well. I had GRIS on two computers and I just finished the game on the other computer. I would have done a local file check verification but I was lucky in this case.
EDIT: after i finished the game i selected 'continue' from the menu and it goes back to just before the cutscene, then 2nd time playing it had sound. cool cutscene best experienced with sound for sure. DEF a bug with the game as i had no sound issues before or after and the sound loss was exactly from the start to the end of the cutscene.
