he adds nothing to the game at all i would much rather focus on the magical girls as they are what i bought the game for not some looser male with no personality he is the one weak point in a enjoyable cst so far

i legit wish he had died at the start or better yet never existed who ever thought adding this character to the game was a good idea

i hope they never write again infact if they even attempt to write i hope they get hit in the face with a shovel

no he is a typical looser male insert your self character that you would see in a dating sim

and the game its selfs store page does not mention this looser once

i am a fan of the magical girl genre thats why i bought this game and its game play is fun the girls are nice little parodies of magical girl heroes

it has nothing to do with his gender by the way i play plenty of games with a male protag

thing is takt is not the main character otoha is

I agree with Nightmarehollow. Takt adds more than Otoha.
And since I'm not male, i can easily say I'm not "inserting" myself into his role.

Better make sure you don't go playing Fairy Fencer, cause that will make you whine the same way.

i am deeply enjoying the game but i critque one thing about it ( a thing not even mentioned on the store page i might add)

and some how im just whining

massive fan of the genre and bought the game for the things i love abou tthat genre

From his character description he is supposed to be at best mature and calm, while at worst apathetic and disinterested. It is nothing wrong with having a slightly low-effort and level-headed character as they really shine once they make decisive decisions and take responsibility, but the way tact is written in the game and his behaviour makes him come out as whiny, apathetic and disinterested to the point of incompetence. He can be a slacker and have a half-arsed attitude if he can make up for it at crucial moments, defusing certain situations and make snap decisions. But he doesn't.
An amusing point though, I found his english voice to be more tolerable. A rare instance. But the ♥♥♥ voices are better for the girls.

i do not like the characte ri never will as i dont like the harem genre that has every girl throw her self at a guy

which does happen they barely know him and start throwing them selfs at him

and as i said i got this game for the magical girls (technically idosl thoe but lets face it there magical girls) it combines 2 things i love JRPGS and magical girls

no mention is evne made of dating sim on the store page

I'm a tiny bit disappointed about him being in the game, since I figured this would be like Neptunia.
Don't hate him though. Just, as you said, I wasn't expecting it to be dating sim lite.
I don't even mind dating sims. I just did not expect him in here.

OP as I've played more, I really feel ya. Still don't HATE Takt but since his personality isn't much like mine it makes it harder to connect with the other characters, again esp cause it's dating sim lite.

I hope next time they make it more like a Persona protagonist. I'd rather make my own choices.
