But listen mate, this was an issue over 1 1/2 years ago. We just decided to stop trying
First of all, I got surprised by your ping as you said it is 40. Second, it is possible to play commandos both on LAN and Hamachi. There are hundreds of people still play this game. You are both from Denmark, and you have terrific 40ms ping, so why not find the issue and enjoy the game. I can help you in this case as I still this game with my friends. If you wish, please feel free to add me so that we can troubleshoot the issue step by step.
I know what was his and my problem and I gave him a solution. You could clearly see me asking if he solved this issue. I know what he meant. I managed to find the solution the day after, so I shared it here. Maybe someone will need it.
Whenever I made a lobby through LAN menu my friend could connect to the lobby, but when the game started "waiting for other players" pop up showed up and we couldn't play.
As I said You have to type your own ip address in the Internet connection box in order to make a lobby, and then your friend have to use the same ip to connect to the lobby. Simple as that. No issues anymore.
