Resolution fix

This doesn't seem to fit my laptop's screen. Is this something that affects everyone else? Is there a fix that works on the current version? (I did try a fix via edited launcher but it seems to be a few years old and prevents the game from even launching)

Try windowed mode, it can create a 1280x1024 5:4 window. Or try the unofficial hd version, with many resolutions available. Both method can be found in the game topics.

A few little issues can appear. I had screen tearing in windowed mode, but d3d overrider can solve it, you surely know that little program.
The hd widescreen version looks nice, but the scrolling feels slow, can be frustrating when you look around on the level.
Both method will work if the original game working already, no risk.

You can try Commandos HD projekt. It is made by italian programmer and allows us to use HD resolutions (also with 16:9 ratio) with the game. I use it and appreciate.
