BoxMaker was free in China?!

BoxMaker has its own website, which is now down, but you can still see it at https://web.archive.org/web/20200225155510/http://mario.web.yymoon.com/ . It's at yymoon.com, Silver Moon Internet's website, so it is legit. There's a PC download link which literally lets you download BoxMaker for free. The installation is weird, as it can't display Chinese properly. That aside, when it is installed, you can just play it. It is exactly the same, just in Chinese. You can't get past the menu, as the servers are down. You can also access the forums through the site, and was active? My guess is that BoxMaker has a bigger community there, as it was free, and Super Mario Maker might not have been in China?
