Inspired by 3D Logic ?

Cube Link reminds me of an old flash game from 2007 I used to love, called "3D Logic" and its sequel, "3D Logic 2 : Stronghold of Sage", both developed by Alex Matveev.
This game seems to have exactly the same design and gameplay, was it inspired by 3D Logic ?
