Awesome update thank you :) are there any steam achievements for the new tour like with the others?

Lets Goooooo, i was gonna play a shooter until i saw the surprise update!

Dang, reinstalled the game to play this new update and lost all of my tour progress... why is this a thing?

I just got the new bike and to be honest you cannot tell the difference between it and the Lux Legacy bike. I love the rest of the cosmetics tho.

♥♥♥♥ game codes never released been checking my email every day for weeks whilst 3 of my friends all play without me giving me serious fomo after i told them about the game cool stuff asked in discord what could of happened and why i wasnt accepteed was told everyone was and to check my junk email i havnt had any email expect the one telling ive signed up ♥♥♥♥ of robot pricks lieing scumbags !

The new tour is not available for me. I started the game for the first time in 2 years and all my tour progress was reset. I thought that re-completing the mischief tour would unlock the new one, but it did not. It isn't in the menu at all.

Edit: The native Linux build is missing the new tour. It appears if I play the Windows version through Proton, but this once again reset all my tour progress.

new map menu format is a very welcome improvement. would be nice to be able to have a local save to play this game offline as I almost never play multiplayer

Yes the build is only for Windows right now. Looking into Linux and Mac next week. Also the Grand Tour is not yet in the cloud save, hence a reinstall resets. This is something that will take some time but is something we'll tackle next year!

Is this supposed to be the big update you were hyping since August? Because this is sad.

I know it is hard to make new content for an old game while you are working on a new one, but at least I expected QoL updates, such as lobby fix (so we don't have to make a new one every time), some actual lobby configuration e.g. trick race, 1st place race, actual map selection instead of copy pasting the map IDs into seed list and maybe allowing us to host modded maps in multiplayer, etc...

In August we added 3 bike parks as a very big update, especially for console. Now we're bringing a new Tour and some QoL features to the game. Sorry but I feel you sound a bit entitled here.

Our new programmer that's solely focused on Descenders has made his first update for the game which we're super excited about. This can only promise a very good 2025 for Descenders. A year in which the game turns 7 years old and we're still pumping out free updates. I get that the last years have been a bit low on updates because we're working on the new game. But we made a promise that we're going to support this game with new updates for a while still, and we intend to keep it!
