I love this game, it makes me want so much more!
I just recently discovered this game because of the sale and I must say I wish i knew about it sooner.

I love to mountain bike in real life, trail riding mostly, and I've always wanted a game to simulate trail riding. my first impression of the game was that it was very arcadey, and a lot of that I think was because of the way the procedural levels really tend to focus on speed, but i am very happy to discover there is actually a pretty robust (feeling at least) physics system for the bike and its controls underneath that really starts to shine when you slow down.

The bike in this game handles really good, feels really good, and is extremely versatile in what you can pull off. A lot of this I discovered when I was not speeding, not playing the procedural courses. Playing one of the bike parks that learn towards reality and more realistic lines and skinnys really highlight this. After a bit of practice, i can pop onto benches with wheelies and do real life tricks on bmx style parks. the precision is very impressive. I love doing long technical skinny lines in this game, like at the Stmp line park in the game.

As for when you do go fast, its scary as hell and will most likely cause you to bail real quick. While i dont like to ride like this most of the time, i do really appreciate how intense it feels. Riding 30mph on a mountain bike downhill in real life is scary as ♥♥♥♥. it should scare you, one wrong move and you're going home early, maybe to an emergency room. This game really captures that, especially when compared to another popular game with mountain bikes and a much bigger budget that makes you feel like your riding through molasses even though its telling you you're going 60mph.

Anyways, very surprised by this game. great work!

What I would REALLY like to see, maybe in a spiritual sequel?

More focus on slower technical lines, stunts, and skinnys. Your physics system supports it and you should highlight it!

More realistic terrain.

More hand constructed bike parks / mountain trail systems.

Real mountain bike customization. I know real life branding is expensive, i dont expect that, but it would be cool to have different options in parts. Handlebars, wheels, tire tread types, frames, suspensions (that you can adjust the psi!), cassettes, brakes and discs.....basically customizing your bike in game like Forza customizes cars. Stuff like making your front suspension stiffer and feeling the difference on the trail.

Also one FINAL thought, even though the lobby map is kinda jank and feels like a modder did it, i love spending time there just because its always populated with people and its cool to just do tricks around other people doing tricks. It really gives you a more connected feeling with the outside world while playing. I'm not a pvp person, but I definitely think you should keep with furthering this community feeling while biking.

Great game! I look forward to hopefully seeing more work from this development team, hopefully another mountain bike game in the future.

Thank you
