it would be nice if the ring of fire had no collision so it would not impede my progress
if it has to have collision it would be nice if it had dynamic physics so if i hit it then it would swing around
i have had many boss jumps impeded by the rings of fire from doing the canyan jumps to doing the first level boss jumps
the ring of fire on the pyramid may look cool but it is impossible to get enough speed save for random chance from the level gen
there are rare instances where i can get the level to generate a long enough and steep enough run up to the pyramid to where not only could i clear the pyramid i could make it through the ring of fire
i cannot unlock the shortcut to jungle because the game does not always register that i did a backflip when i do the "stop then go" method
i mean it sees the backflip and i get points for it
but i dont get "objective complete"
The "backflip the bossjump" is a bit strange with this one as you can easily trigger the bossjump prompt. The consistent setup is to ride up and dont jump. just lean back into the flip and land. if you land and you didnt get it just reset to checkpoint and try again.
if this doesnt work you can try some advances movement tech to overshoot the pyramid but this is really inconsitent, so i'l explain the second best way to do this.
Gain speed, ride up and about 4/5 the way up the pyramid you bunnyhop into a backflip. you will gain a lower flight angle and land super far into the ramp or even on flat, so counterpump just before landing to increase the landing impact survivability.
Goodluck
but hearing it now it makes sense
will avoid fire node in desert
also why would the boss jump sometimes ignore the back flip i did even if i did it right
I've been trying this and it won't give me the reward. I've tried riding to the top and backflipping off onto the exit ramp. I've tried backflipping onto the pyramid and making the flip ramp to ramp as well.
but i am greatful for the elaboration
