I just started playing but I was wondering why or how I can't do any of these tricks? Also, how do you set a spawn point?

I asked the same question yesterday... You need a specific bike. I haven't unlocked it yet, but really liking the game so far.

I don't like having to unlock faster spins and tricks but I guess it's okay

You need to select the Hardtail in The Shed.

setting spawnpoint is shift+T on keyboard, and choose the hardtail to do this tricks. I stick to the hardtail now cause its easier to do tricks like doubles and triples, and its still good enough for highspeed, especially when you get the stability perk
