Fail to join friends Career Session - Help Please!

Hello all!

I am writing here as a friend and I are having concerns playing Career mode together. For the ease of discussion, I will refer to my friend having concerns as Friend A, and other friends as Friend B, and so on.

Friend A has recently purchased the game, and we were trying to play Career together. When I create the multiplayer lobby, he can join and ready-up just fine. When I press Ride, and the game starts to load the map, Friend A gets stuck at the map selection screen. I will load in and get to preview the course while I get the message "waiting for other players". Friend A can move the selector around the possible maps, but cannot click on one. I know that the first map is selected automatically.

When Friend A sets up a lobby and we ready up, he is able to join the game and I get stuck at the map selection screen. If another friend, Friend B, is in the mix, he is in the same situation as me. Meaning, if Friend A starts a lobby and we try to join, we both get stuck at the map selection screen while Friend A loads in.

When we play with Friend B and others, all but Friend A can join the game, getting stuck at the same point. The concern occurs no matter who hosts the lobby. If Friend A hosts, nobody else can join. If anyone but Friend A host, Friend A will get stuck at the map selection screen.

We can load the same bike park and play in the same main lobby just fine, and he's not having any other concerns in the game.

Friend A has uninstalled and reinstalled two times and verified game cache integrity. I saw a similar report of another group of friends having the same concern, but they were in Australia. I am not as tech-savvy as them, but I can get you any other information you need! Please let me know if you need any other details, or clarification. Thank you for what you do! Great game :D
