I will freely admit to being abysmal at this game.

That being said, the triangle of "you are going to die" seems like a warning light on your car. Usually a good idea to check, but not always entirely accurate

There have been several times when i have gotten a "clean landing" with it flashing and i bail regardless. On the flip side several less ideal landings with the triangle flashing have wound up working out just fine

What causes the triangle to show up?
What counts as a "good" landing with the triangle flashing?
What do you do when it does show up, besides die?

the triangle is an indication that if you dont land correctly (angle and counterpumping) that you're most likely to bail on impact, so angle yourself towards the landing ramp or dirt pile and counterpump just before you land
Getting the landing impact perk helps to prevent those situations
