I gathered seven live points in the previous three runs to have better chances of succeeding in the boss jump, the objective was a 360, I pressed the wrong stick, didn't do a 360, but a perfect landing, reached the finish line before I could brake and WAS IN THE FCKNG FOREST with seven lives I wanted to use for the Highlands boss jump. No way back. I'm SO PYSSED now. WASTED half an hour with NO fun for NOTHING. What a CRAP.
Just my 20 bucks.
I personally don't know how you could play multiple games and feel satisfied with only an hour of time to play. I am pretty sure the devs don't want to have to remove unlocking the other zones. There are plenty others that have done it, it just takes practice. Playing a game with a higher learning curve than your average game doesn't sound like a good idea if you only have an hour every single day to play video games.
Locking stuff at the beginning is a sure sign of lack of content. Locked stuff artificially creates a motivation, and for me a lot of anger. First eat the porridge three times in different ways before you can get toast with marmalade.
Learning curve is important, and pacing it out properly is important. A game tends to be more accesible through pacing of a learning curve as opposed to giving you a huge bucket of tools with barely a clue as to how to play. It can be overwhelming for people, especially folks that are looking to try out the game within that two hour refund period. You give them access to everything right off the bat, and you have people leaving tons of pointless feedback saying "Canyons too hard, peaks are too hard, everything is too hard" and leaving poor reviews because they diddled around in Highlands for a few minutes before jumping head first into the harder courses with next to no knowledge of the ins and outs of the game.
You'll unlock everything soon man, just commit an hour to it every now and then and you'll get the hang of it! Read the guide on the boss jumps, get some practice and you'll be OK! A personal tip from me, if you want to get over the Highlands boss jump without needing to bunny hop, hit the ramp at about 70 KPH and just fly over it. A lot of people tend to fly off the side of the ramp trying to bunny hop it, so this may save you some trouble. You should have enough height and time to nail whatever trick you need to beat the shortcut challenges. Best of luck.
For me its immediatly aggravating, and then funny. Still fun to me though.
What's the logic regarding such an external seed generator but having locked worlds in Freeride mode?
they chose to only allow access to thing you have unlocked whilst at the same time don't prevent you from putting a seed from something you didn't unlocked. their choice.
3 = world "canyon" (2 is "forest", 4 is "peaks")
0 = normal track (1 and 2 are "boss jump" and "no track")
0 = midday, clear sky (1, 2, 3 are different times/weather)
4 = steepness (0 to 9)
5 = curves (0 to 9)
6 = stunts (0 to 9)
12345 = five digits random part, form of the track
