I just picked it up for 45pence! Oh well, I don't mind, I got to play it as a kid. I'll keep it in my library. Even if I don't get to play it again until 2025, it's just too good of a series not to have in my collection! :)

Renaming comandos.exe to commandos.exe did the trick for me. Had the solution in another forum.

GUYS!!! JUST USE DGVODOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! download the GDvodoo and drop it in the game folder, it will run perfectly!

What? You can run, but through the film (.avi) is not a common decoder, need to use translation software.Instead why not solve the problem of 3 commandos? It is still crazy to flicker, Intel and NVIDIA graphics can't play.

I've just installed a clean install of Window 10 and both beyond the call of duty and behind enemy lines work perfectly fine, I don't have any extra programs running nor needed to change the .exe haven't tried the other ones yet....

Just a helpful tip - like some of you already know renaming "comandos.exe" to "commandos.exe" helps but you also need to shut down the steam app. Didn't know about the last bit and took me some time and nerves to figure it out. Games works perfectly - have fun!

Windows 10-es rendszeren nálam jól működik a játék, 19 óra alatt végig is játszottam.
Egyetlen hiba volt a játékkal, még pedig a gyors mentéstől gyakran megfagyott a játék, emiatt gyakran be kellett zárnom a játékot (Windows 10-en legalább is), Windows XP for VirtualBox-on remekül muzsikál (igaz, egy picit érezni, hogy néha lelassul az egész).

Guys, I did a test and find that open the game by "coman_mp.exe" that is in the game folder you can play, however it will not save or load your saved games. Save and Load to get the game there is a procedure:

* (For Commandos BEL, check the tutorial below that)
1. Enter the game folder;
2. Open the folder OUTPUT;
3. Open the file "Commando.cfg" with Notepad;
4. Add the line: ".DEVELOP 1" - No quotes.
5. Save the file and open the game by "coman_mp.exe" ...

* For Commandos: Behind Enemy Lines repeat until step 3;
4. Add the lines:
.size [.INITSIZE 3]
.profile [.user 0]
.DEVELOP 1
5. Save the file and open the game by "commandos.exe" ...
