Offline mod?

Are there any mods or hacks that can make single player playable offline, I'm sick and tired of being disconnected, and there's nothing I can do about my unstable internet connection. Maybe something like the workaround for Games for Windows Live, where you install a personal version of the service in the game files.

I don't care even if it permanently disables multiplayer.

I know it's not there by default I'm asking if there's any way to modify the game files to make it offline, like installing a mini version of the server with the current patches and 1-2 save slots.

I don't care if I lose all my current progress as I was planning on starting a new game anyway, because it's been too long since I played. But I keep getting disconnected during the prologue so it's unplayable.

sorry mate. no such thing. only the mod mentioned above. which can suck all the fun out of it. but, games in the past have offered off line service leaving a lan type or peer to peer. marvels avengers just did that. discontinued the game then made it so people who have it can still play. or later some one does do a work around like some ea titles. ea has cancelled a lot of games coders found a work around. and to give more far hope. depending on the love the game can get despite haters games can be reversed engineered like wow final fantasy which are far bigger games, city of heroes is another one. but all of that is depending on the love given to the game by fan coders. but for now a solid no.
