what's wrong with the pyro ?

hi, i have eighty hours in the game more or less, i'm apo 18 on the main char and i tried the other chars before "the long grind" to be sure i could not have more fun elsewhere.
trickster great.
techno absolutely great. perhaps even better than destroyer.

then .. pyro. what the hell. i did worldslayer in something like 2 hours on the others without lowering the difficulty, i died once or twice.
On this one i broke a bunch of epics from the main, i constantly upgrade it, i found a solid build, transferred the t3 perks and still, i am constantly dying. absolutely nothing works and the damage are not that great. am i missing something ? (it's a cookie cutter anomaly build, nothing fancy)

that's the eruption build from nicktew, i presume it's meta. i'll try something else with volcanic rounds before burying the character.

i'll try that thanks :) i'm running maxwell on deva so i'm quite used to gunning things, it is significantly better with volcanic rounds

Yes, the eruption build is made for lvl 50 and higher. Up to then, focus on heatwave + ash blast and overheat combo and the acari set for Pyro. Great AOE build and decent boss killer. Eruption build is great when amassing a horde of mobs together and then burning them all down with triple Eruption (plus great against annoying corsairs)

i tried some other build but honestly .. survivability is really not great and damage seems on par with others and the class bring no significant boost in my group, i think i'll just drop this char :) but thanks for the advices !

well in this case i got bad news, all the other classes are absolutely bonkers and tanky as a brick

really ? maybe it scale differently idk but in apo 21 they obliterate absolutely anything in a matter of seconds

ty i'll check, i finally took the technomancer, pretty much breezing through the tarya progress with a turret/minigun but i wonder why i cannot do ♥♥♥♥ on pyro. i even deleted mine, rerolled a prebuild, gated to tarya to buy all the all sets with capsule @apo 1 in order to start with the best options at hand ><
