Why is this game so f..kn dead.

I see less replayable games with an active community than this game. All while this game is cross platform and still doesnt have nearly as much player. Its weird to me.

some things in video gaming just keeps players away like covid.
game looks good, is good at the start but keeps disappointing the longer you play and in the end its waaaaaaay too repetitive.

SO MUCH hasn't been fixed in the First part of the game and THEN they add a DLC at a total stupid price and it also was pretty much Broken .. But guess What, They haven't even fixed want is wrong with it, Yet.
They gave a patch, but it was broken also for the most part.

And also, just sticking to the Steam numbers isn't accurate. The game is on several other platforms. Host a game, and no matter your level, there will be folks that join you. Maybe not right away, but it's bound to happen eventually. Join the official discord and there's plenty to discuss with about the game. All in all, the game is only dead if you believe it to be.

Thats a good amount considering you only need 3 in a party, although im having a blast right now solo ill try party later levels , im only mid 20s right now.

The game is on other platforms. You can find games easy with crossplay enabled. Also the game is short.

1400 players in a triple A title is not a good amount. There's more people playing Left 4 Dead 2, an almost 15 year old title than are playing this game that just had a major content update.

People joined Shatterline. Co-op>check, PvP>check, Rogue Lite mode>check. And without need to pay 40e in top of base game price, to access end game gear/expeditions etc.

As soon as it was discovered that if you play Outriders multi-player you open your character up to being hacked and bricked - the game died. The game takes less than a day as a single player game... the only fun was multiplayer, so in removing that.. the game is toast.

Once you have finished this game, it does not make you want to play it again because it is too easy. We play it for the story, but the classes, the builds, all that is useless since it is too easy. I would recommend Aliens Fireteam Elite. It's not the same thing at all.
