Perhaps to clear it for now make a character solely to take the hell's items out of your stash and keep them on that character's inventory (do not claim more from the inbox!) dunno if it will work because level and stuff since I don't have this problem, but worth a try.
This way, all DLC stuffs will be "deleted" if in any inventory. You will see vehicule cosmetics missing too.
After that, if you want vehicule cosmetics back, just make available again the DLC (do a file check - not sure if necessary here).
You will see all DLC stuffs back in inbox, nothing in others inventories.
Vehicule cosmetics are available too.
I think it's quicker to just disable the DLC and let it wipe itself.. creating new character you have to go through that first section of the game of fighting those enemies just to get to town is such a slog just to delete those items.
No idea why the OP hasn't gone with this answer. If this works then it's obviously a full solution for the problem without wasting alt inventory space.
