Brood Mother weak point?

It's not the heart, it's not the head. I sometimes get crits when shooting somewhere between her heart and her arm. But where is it? The most tedious mob for me because of this reason alone, always lose my enhanced bullets when a brood mother is around.

might be the 5% random crit chance giving you the crit pings

Yeah I wonder that myself, seems to be somewhere around the arm pit except when they are in that shield mode, crits on monsters are kind of a touch and go for me... very few have one that I can easily spot, I suppose we will eventually get a list of weakspots for all the enemies

Shield mode, the reflective/absorbing skin or whatever its English name is, actually disables crits on the mob (alphas and broodmothers use it).

Some peeps said it is under her neck, never been able to find it though.

many enemies are missing crit spots (or they are impossible to hit)
Besides that not even all headshots will count as crits anyway for reasons not clear to me.

For my Experience the Brood Mother Crit spot, like the one on the Alphas ist when she opens her Mouth shoot right into it. At least thats what i got from hours of testing.

Idk, I can kill Alphas in seconds by just aiming at their head area. No such thing with the Brood Mother

You would think that the heart would be the OBVIOUS weak point since you can break it but apparently not, the point of the heart, I don't get.

my guess is the mouth area ... its not like you can consistently crit them there but it happens more regulary than the other spots.

I'm not 100% sure but i've noticed that when I break it she kinda frenzies i guess is the right word and starts going nuts but not using her abilities as much.

as for the actual weakpoint I think it's the mouth as well

its her chest where you see the pinky tissue we constantly get crits on that part when we manage to hit it

it's her heart but the third person angle screws with the accuracy, then eventually the heart breaks and you can't crit it the same.

This is correct, her spawn have the same weakpoint in the chest cavity. however alphas and brood get an armor skin when they glow blue that negates crits.

perferto is head same for venom and alpha
strixes just die so fast but it seems like the middle and upper back where wings are but not the wings
