Is Firepower build useless W/O Bullet Skills?
I'm currently running a firepower Deva build and trying to run CT13's w/ lvl 49 gear but I can't seem to kill enemies fast enough even when my firepower is at 450K. With an anomaly Deva I get better clearing times w/ only 150k anomaly power and my firepower pyro has better clear speeds w/ only half the firepower that my Deva has. Am I doing something wrong or is a firepower build useless w/o a bullet skill?

I got a anomaly deva and tried the statue set deva, maybe my gear wasn't optimize or something but it doesn't seem to do as good as the anomaly build.

With Anomaly build I can wipe out an entire mob with 2 earthquakes. I can kill grouped up elites with one skills rotation: golem (45% anomaly buff), leap (1.5x more dmg), 3x earthquakes which brings elites hp to about 20% and also applies bleed (40% more dmg from gear mods) then a single shadow comet for 500K dmg to finish them off.

With statue/firepower, I ran out of ammo from both shotguns and mobs are still alive.

I think the issue is that mobs have much higher armor compared to their resistance to anomaly. I've heard ppl say that mobs have 80-85% armor and like 20% resistance to anomaly power so the Deva needs really high FP along with almost all the FP boosting mods to clear expos at the efficiency that an AP Deva clears them. I was able to get my FP to 550k through using tremor and gravity leap on a weapon w/ a base FP value of 70K but even with that it's useless w/o all the FP boost mods. Other classes don't seem to have to worry about making their FP that high because the bullet skills ignore alot of mob armor.
Developers don't care about your complaints. Now the main thing is to limit the flow of money into their pocket after the last patch. This is the only thing they will pay attention to. Prevent new users from purchasing the game until they fix the game.

There are Firepower builds for Deva around. 450k Firepower wont cut it tho...

edit: random google example. Didnt watched, but he seems to be sporting statue set.
Look for a guy who uses ultimate weapon link, he has a crazy vid too.

For those unaware the most recent update broke the Statue set bonus. It doesn't stay active with the skill like it's supposed to. Making it perform much worse atm.
What srsly? ffs... -.-*
Strictly speaking about Technomancer, it is either Blighted Rounds or bust. I have near perfect firepower gear and mod combination and unless I'm using Blighted Rounds I hit like a wet noodle. I'm talking about 50k vs 230k difference between no BR and on.

I'm not sure this is a problem with armor as only certain enemies are armored as per game description. Other should not have any significant amount of physical mitigation.

I think the culprit is in how scaling and conversion works in this game. It is something we do not understand but the difference between normal shots and bullet skills is just too much to be explained by just conversion to anomaly damage.

The minimum amount of armor any enemy has is 25% damage reduction to physical attacks (aka bullets). Some enemies go up to 85% physical damage reduction. I'm unsure if stacking above 100% armor piercing leads to a damage multiplier above 100% of the weapon damage or not though, as I've not used a firepower build myself as of yet.
