Blighted Rounds Questions
I'm confused about Blighted rounds and what stats/attributes feeds them.

Firstly, their actual 'bullets hitting targets' damage. It's substantially higher damage output when triggered but its not adding FP like twisted right? But with little to no Toxic mods, it still hits hard. Is this because it negates armor? Or is the toxin 'on hit' work different than the toxin DOT?

And just to confirm, its still FP I want to boost for gun damage with Blighted right? As opposed to AP?

Also, the healing I get from the ticks of DOT. How to improve that? Is it weapon leetch, skill leetch, healing received, or mods that boost toxin?

Blighted Rounds switches damage to Anomaly based.

Skill leech will boost healing recieved from it.

I'm almost positive it is still weapon leech that benefits from the shots themselves. Skill leech affects the toxic damage (and maybe the AoE damage?).

What does this part mean exactly?

The way I understood it was that AP is still used to calculate your potential gun damage but then output AS anomaly where applying a resistance debuff to a target would result in more damage?

Hmm, I was just about convinced that Skill Leetch increases heal because in the stats description skill leetch says includes statuses and toxin is a status right?

Edit: Oh yeah, I mis-read. In that case your receiving healing from both sources.

Oh and another thought..

So would mods that do Resistance Piercing increase the damage done to targets affected by toxin or does that only work for anomaly and not status?

To boost your blighted round damage you have to boost your weapon damage, qnd not anomaly.
The extra damage you see is from the armor pierce

Armor pierce on blighted round build is usless because you are alreqdy ignore enemy armor

The bullets shot by Blighted Rounds are dealt as Anomaly Damage and thus are affected by Resistance (and thus benefit from Resistance Piercing). I'm not actually certain about toxic/burn/bleed damage, as that might be separate from gun/anomaly damage. Resistance piercing is pretty useless on most rounds builds though. I haven't found any enemies with significant enough Resistance that the resistance piercing becomes noticeable.

I can tell you from my own experience that while Anomaly power affects Blighted Rounds damage, it is firepower that is absolute king. I have run all anomaly power gear pieces on my build and was doing ok-ish damage. However, when I switched to all firepower gear pieces I doubled my damage. I was hitting for 400k crit, I can hit for 800k easily and when fully buffed I saw 1.5m few times.

thx all for replies..

I'm certainly using FP but I'm trying to maximize healing from the toxin for survivability.

If u play with blighted Rounds you need Weapon power and not anomly power.

If u want a prove then watch the blighted rounds builds on youtube.
There is no single technomancer build with blighted rounds that uses anomaly power.

There are mods like increase damage by 15%/25% to enemies affected by toxic which Blighted rounds do. then you can use Blight Rounds +30% crit damage mod etc...
