Just a cool observation, right at the start when you go to the target practice in the tutorial the female calibrating reads out Desmond's numbers. I hope there are references like this throughout the game for different things.

Nope. I just didn't like the games. The general artstyle (if even only outdated graphically), the basic core mechanics and such, not my thing. The later releases like Odyssey, Origins, Valhalla, etc, shouldn't really be called Assassin's Creed, considering they do things so drastically different than the original sets, becoming more open-world RPG than a linear-ish story.

Arguably though I do prefer those sorts of games, Valhalla is definitely interesting primarily due to it's historical setting and cultural themes, and I coincidentally live in England.

Yeah I was trying to be subtle about that, started as much watch TV, but the last few seasons were just, well, how is this poop ending, then it did end and I think it was the design inspiration for mass effect 3's let down finale / ending.

The end of Lost scarred me for good. I've not bothered watching any big box set series since. It had some great moments but overall it was 100 hours wasted while the writers just wrote nonsense with zero explanation. Thought it was a cool touch though, especially with the anomaly theme in Outriders, not to mention that Desmond was my favourite character so did bring back some of my better memories of Lost.

At some point I may try watching it again in a full binge style now that's easy to do without dropping alot if cash on the box sets. Just, I may forget the last 2 series existed and stop before it made no sense as the writers clearly made it 3 series too long for its own good.
