And i'm sure this same guy doesn't even protect his accounts by a double authentication (when you receive for instance a code on your phone to confirm the connection)...

I dont even have a square enix account and somehow it works for me without one.... So idk. Just never got asked for a login and ive never had one in my life.

One of the main advantages of having your PC game library on Steam is that it takes care of everything for you and you can just focus on actually playing your games. It's frustrating, and defeats the purpose of the platform when developers try to circumvent that by having their own 3rd party DRM, and login's. Outriders at least according to Square-Enix, is not suppose to be a Games as a Service title even though it walks and talks like one. So i'm not really understanding why it needs an additional login.
