Cheating on Console (PS5)

I’m playing Outriders on PS5 and I have cheated (changing the time on my console to reset vendors to find better gear). I deleted all my characters, but when I started a new character, I noticed that I still had all my accolades. Will I be marked as a cheater because of this, or is there a way to reset my accolades?

achievements or accolades? the two are very different.

Achievements can be reset, by deleting them in the options menu, accolades can not, because they were earned in "multiplayer" by your performance... so have fun with that.

The intent of the cheating notification to players was, for them to get rid of anything your player can "use, or be used" when game goes live, not some transparent "trophy" that is basically just a "look at me" thing, aren't I great...

Have fun console guy, stop bothering us.

As long as you didn't do it after their official announcement you will be fine.

What exactly constitutes cheating in Outriders? People Can Fly defines it thus:

Intentionally running the game on PC without Easy Anti-Cheat (EAC)
Modifying game files to enhance a character: levels, skills, inventory, etc.
Externally modifying game time to reduce time-dependent features such as vendors and challenges
Using a trainer program or similar to gain advantages within the game
Using gameplay altering programs such as aimbots or wallhacks

Only time will tell. Because it is what it is :)

Actually PCF has already said that for “time change” all is forgiven but going forward when they do the periodic checks, changing time WILL be marked as a cheater. So the OP deleted their characters for nothing.

OP ins't asking about their cheating, this thread, imho isn't even about cheating, it's probably more troll than anything else, due to the OP asking about achievements and accolades, which are transparent to game play. OP is just bringing up points that their (or more likely other cheaters) got achievements or accolades, due to or as a result of cheating, and those should be removed as well... which is really just superficial in all aspects. Can always delete them, but accolades are PS5 specific so.. who cares.. transparent to game play.
