Are we missing a cut-scene concerning Seth?

Concerning what happened to him. The screen flashes and the character just tells us what was going on -- but we never see it. Is there a missing cutscene here? For instance...the "Alchemist" side-quest has us seeing what happened with Subject 6, but nothing for here.

Edit* Actually I think Dr. Stein is right. The purpose is to imply it, they don't show it. With 6, the actual act isn't shown either, just actions that strongly imply what happens.

I did not see any particular cutscene. All I saw was my character approach, tell her companions what happened and then her eyes turn blue and then my monitor "flashes" and she tells everyone what happens. I don't "see" it.

I was left with the same belief, that we're missing a cutscene there. When you find him there, you get the flash and then I was left wondering if I missed a curscene with the fight between the 2. The end result you see it, just not the fight and the fight part is what I was left wondering if I missed the cutscene.

I saw Seth stomped and burned against a rock wall, and then Moloch approaching with a very bad attitude.

i didn't see a cutscene either. but in regards to the Alchemist sidequest, we did get a cutscene there too. I've tried looking around and its seems that most just got a black screen in that moment.

I feel like I missed a few cutscenes, or a scene within one skipped. Definitely felt like I missed something with stones being selected in the forest. The cutscenes started acting up as I went along, eventually the sound, movement, and subtitles all became desynced.

There's a bugged cutscene at that point. I was playing multiplayer, my friend had the cutscene but I didn't.

Unfortunate bug. Not that Seth is super relevant to the story though.

The scene with us finding Seth burned to a crisp is not missing (for me) but in that cutscene there is another flash that made me believe that we should've gotten a scene with Seth fighting Moloch, something we did not, we just found him dead.

PS. Search for Moloch on google and see what its said about him and kids, then consider the husk on his back that is also alive. :)

You should try checking game's integrity and some cutscene issues (not specific to this game) are usually caused by missing video codecs (that could be a reason to not getting some of them). Windows defender also appears to cause issues with this game (you could also check that)

3 of the youtube videos show what i saw, normal cutscene where your character glows blue eyes and it fades to black for a split second then returns when you hear Seth's voice mentioning Moloch

But nothing shown for Moloch etc

Guess the cutscene inside a cutscene is not playing for a bunch of people

I forgot about that weird black screen (maybe I didn't see it?), although, could it be that there are two custscenes and the black screen is just a delay in loading the second one?

Yeah thats the one i saw, but based on the comments above they make it sound like Moloch appear

Seriously, ♥♥♥♥ the developers for all the unceremonious deaths. Introduce character kiss them goodbye before we get to know them at all, making their death meaningless. It's like the devs went out of their way to make every experience, the suckiest possible.
