Let us -nosplash or at least Space/Escape through the Splash Screens!
For the love of all that is Holy!

Before the Sign In page, which will often be down, we have to sit through:
1) Square-Enix Cut-Scene
2) Nvidia Splash
3) Studio Splash
4) Epilepsy Splash
5) Loading Screen
6) SIGN IN... OH, IT'S DOWN!

Let us -nosplash or at least Space/Escape through the Splash Screens!

It does in fact, increase the anger for many of us, after so many crashes, server issues etc. I also ultramega hate seeing it every time

Ive read this method before, and did in a few games.

But given the online component of the game, anti cheat stuff, and the hot mess they have, im not takin any risk to a false positive or whatever... at least not yet. Lets allow devs for an easy fix before

I have done it and have had no issues besides the servers being ♥♥♥♥.

Remember back in the day it used to take games 2-5 minutes to load? Same with Operating Systems too!

Imagine being someone who can't wait 30 seconds for something...
Splash isn't the problem here imo...

It is a problem, because nothing needs to load before the sign-in screen. There are so many games without these, or that allow you to skip over them. And the point isn't having to watch them, the point is that you have to watch them BEFORE getting told the servers are already down, so the game won't be playable anyway.

If it was a single player game with no online component, I'd give them a complete pass for having non-skipable cutscenes and splash screens.

This was for the demo but still works for full release. It won't get rid of all of them but enough to not make it a slog each log in. I think some of the splash screens are actually in a .pak file and IDK if EAC would trigger if you messed with those.

Cheers Shibby, the link mentioned by メイドの召喚獣ーレイ seemed to get rid of the Square-Enix introl but would load almost as long, so that's a start. As for the other splash screens, I'd definitely be woried about messing around with .pak files - would need to wait for someone more knowledgeable than myself to dig into that, haha.
